In the frames of the “Institutional Needs Assessment of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara (SCA)” project, on June 26th, GEC team presented the results of the project to the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Secretary General of the Supreme Council and the Heads of the Departments of the Supreme Council. During the presentation, GEC team presented the main findings, the overall results of the project and the recommendations.

The goal of the project is to conduct institutional needs assessment of the Supreme Council of Ajara (SCA) to identify the needs, gaps and causes that hinders effective and efficient implementation of its mandate, to enable further defining of institutional development strategy and performance improvement initiatives.

Project is implemented with the support from the European Union (EU) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under their larger initiative for consolidating parliamentary democracy in Georgia.
