Cooperation with Supreme Council of Adjara A.R.
GEC starts a new project - “Institutional Needs Assessment of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara (SCA)”. Within the framework of the project, on May 4th, GEC team conducted a kick-off meeting with Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Secretary General of the Supreme Council and members of the management team. At the meeting, the presentation of the project was held and an action plan was agreed.
The goal of the project is to conduct institutional needs assessment of the Supreme Council of Ajara (SCA) to identify the needs, gaps and causes that hinders effective and efficient implementation of its mandate, to enable further defining of institutional development strategy and performance improvement initiatives.
Project is implemented with the support from the European Union (EU) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under their larger initiative for consolidating parliamentary democracy in Georgia.
